Ok, so I thought there was a deal in place with the Rangers for Georgiev and it involved trading Bracco. Rangers have now sat Georgiev and brought up another goalie. I also heard DeAngelo was going to be part of the deal. So before DeAngelo scores 5 points in a game let's pull the trigger!! 🤦🏽‍♂️ Anyway, a trade like this would look good.

TOR: Bracco, Lilgren, Woll, Tamishov, 5th round pick.

NYR: Georgiev, DeAngelo

I know there's a ton of room for tweaks.

Good basis for a trade but I would. prefer to keep Lili if at all possible. If there is a trade made I'm assuming Ceci is included as well so maybe add Ceci and another pick but overall good prop.

For the life of me I do not understand why the rangers wouldn’t want to try and move hank and keep the two young guys maybe because they think they can get an arm and a leg for him. maybe as for DeAngelo he’s a good player I just don’t care to see him in a leafs jersey I mean I think we have a lot of good skating dman and I don’t think he would add a lot to this team.

Lundqvist has a full NMC and will never accept a trade anywhere else. Ever. He’s set to retire after next year and that will be that. Rangers would never ask him for a trade either. They have too much respect for him. If anything he will run a tandem with whatever goalie they decide to keep long term.

Rangers night not make this exact trade, but they would make one very similar to it. Woll is a top 20 rated goalie prospect, Timashov is already playing nhl and doing well (on Rangers he would get more opportunity as well), Liljegren is a top prospect that is virtually guaranteed to be a top 4 defenseman, and Bracco would be given an opportunity.

DeAngelo is a racist and polarizing figure in the dressing room. He’s been suspended multiple times for hitting referees. Leafs won’t have much interest in him I’m sure despite his talent.

No from the Leafs, Lilijegren is finally blossoming into the player the Leafs always thought he was. He'll be up with the big club later this year likely.

I would love to see Liljegren make the nhl this year. His progress is mirroring that of Dermott’s very well. If Liljegren didn’t get hurt last year he probably would already have made the team. He’s already been called up, though Too bad he didn’t get to play. Keefe if all people knows exactly what Liljegren is capable of. At this point I’m sure it’s just a matter of time.

Agreed. I feel there is a hard on on trading any of Sandin, Lilijegren, Woll or Scott and Robertson to a lesser extent. Everyone else can be had in a trade.

If we trade Robertson we may as well trade SDA at the same time or his value will significantly drop after. The points production before and after having Robertson beside him is pretty remarkable actually.

In my opinion the only reason I would trade a guy like Robertson is cause I’d be afraid he would end up like Bracco and never really get a legit chance leafs would be able to get a solid prospect in return for him in a position of need.

Trade a prospect for a prospect because your afraid prospects may never turn into NHL quality players? When I put it like that seems a bit off doesn't it? Lol.

By the time Robertson is ready for the NHL the roster will look very different than it does now. If Bracco was 3 years younger he wouldn't care about a trade as he can just wait a bit for his chance to shine. As far as forwards coming up through the pipeline go, who do we really have that is an A+ kind of guy ahead of Robertson or SDA? both will get a very good look when the time comes. Bracco to me, just isn't good enough.

Robertson and SDA are our only good forward prospects. We better hold onto them for now for cheap replacements for our expensive forwards.
