Ferland is done. We could use him as LTIR. But as a player, if we acquire him, I hope he never plays another game. Last thing Leafs need is another Lupol on the team. As for Demko, I guess it depends on what Markstrom does. We could throw them Andersen in the package too somehow if they wanted to expand it some more

I feel like Jarnkrok is a fairly significant downgrade from Kerfoot. Nashville should be adding a pick of some sort, or even better, retain salary if they can.

Dermott and Sanheim I value roughly equal. Though Philly probably values Sanheim more. They have a lot of quality RHD and may be looking to move one. I don't know if this would get it done, but the idea is pretty straightforward. And if it wasn't for the fact the Philly has a lot of good LHD to go along with all their good RHD, I could see the reasoning and be all for it.

I don't think that's enough for sanheim even though I like the target.

Rather keep Kerfoot and see how he does next year.

I like demko. But is he a starter?

I wouldn’t want to trade Freddie for a developing goalie I like Ferland not enough for this deal.

Ferland had three concussions last year. THREE. And the year before when he was in Carolina he had two. That's five concussions in two years. FIVE. In TWO years.

If he insists he wants to play again, Leafs should avoid him. Unless we can Robidas Island him, it is not a good idea taking him on.
