From your top 9 forwards only Kase is a UFA going into next year, with Bunting, Kampf, Kane, Miller and Horvat all under contract for 1 more season. Along with 2 or more years remaining on Matthews, Marner and Tavares contracts. 2 very good opportunities to win the Cup, if goaltending is at least decent.

I am just impressed with how you keep track of all the players when you do your lineup overhauls.

Miller and Kane vs Nylander and Kerfoot I am quite sure Tavares would buy Willy some new luggage, and a maybe a dinner as a going away present. .

Horvat at C on 3rd line vs Mikheyev or Ritchie @ W with Kampf the C. Easy easy answer there.

Fleury and Halak yes older but both still good goalies. After resigning Reilly how much money is left for Jack? His agent apparently is a hardass, so no discount for giving Campbell the opportunity. Yes he has made the most of it, unfortunate an extension was not done a while back. Signing Mzarek was a mistake and premature, Dubas git nervous when negotiations faktered with Andersen. He moved in haste lacking patience and
understandibg, he thought he was working from a position of weakness rather than strength. He for sure underestimated Campbells trajectory, stats don't lie. Money from signing Ritchie and Mzarek would have been better spent on Andersen. Undeniable Andersen and Campbell would be the best tabdem in the NHL.
