Robertson for Colangelo.
Robertson could use a change of scenery and Colangelo is being used on the 4th line in Anaheim and fits a Leaf style of play more. Big right shot winger who plays physical.

Particularly one with size.
Berube doesn’t appear to believe in Robertson so send him to a team that will give him a chance to play.

Another bottom six player, or below average top 6. Not what they need. Until Matthews gets a legit right winger, this team struggles around .500 hockey.

Ckps - Do you think Robertson lands a top 6 winger for Matthews? I would hope you don't think that. Colangelo is cost controlled for years to come. He is an RW that has pretty much scored at every level. Getting a controlled asset that could be used for one that doesn't fit, would be a good move.

Never suggested that at all. Robertson may not even get you a third round pick. You don’t need a goal scorer with Matthews. that's his job. You need someone to get him the puck in the right places. They shopped in the bargain annex for Maccelli and that’s not working. Domi sucks. They need top right winger to play with Matthews or Tavares and put Nylander wherever that new winger doesn’t go.

I think Nylander is a great fit with Matthews, so they don't need necessarily a top line RW. Imo, We need a guy who can carry the puck and have possession as they enter the zone on that line. McMann and Nylander should be good line mates for Matthews. Maccelli/ Domi would be better with Roy and Joshua. Need some speed on that line or another heavy player, so Maccelli/ Domi or Colangelo. Cowan with JT and Knies. Jarnkrok, Laughton Colangelo/ Maccelli/ Domi, Lorentz and Blais make up the rest and slotted depending on where needed. Someone obviously needs to go when Laughton is ready.
