Take out Holl and Gostisbehere and I like this deal a lot better.

Ratcliffe is a beast. That kid is massive. And I mean massive. He has enough size to scare the life out of anyone thinking about touching our guys. And he has skill too. Hextall thought very highly of Ratcliffe and traded up to get him. I wouldn't be surprised to see him make the NHL and be a real good middle six player too.

Why would they want Freddy back for Murray? That makes no sense on their part.

I like the ghost but I would rather keep Holl at this point.

Pittsburgh, where they can keep Jarry and Casey Desmith from Seattle.
Pittsburgh gains an asset of Engvall and a fixed price for Salary.
What is Murray worth as a RFA in a contract?

They don't need Anderson though. It's essentially Engvall for Murray. I assume they would want maybe a second as well.

I kinda think Engvall for Murray is pretty fair. Engvall is a roster player. He's someone Pittsburgh can use right now today. A solid bottom six player on a contending team.

I don't think the market is that low myself LGM. Engvall alone for Pitts isn't much.

You can't really send a goalie anywhere in a trade usually. If a trade is made for another goalie you just expose Freddy.
