Dermott, Holl, Amirov, Der-Augchinstev, Mzarek & a 1st rd pick in 2023 & 2024 to Chicago for Kane & Fleury. With Chicago eating half of Fleury salary. Then a third party trade to get a team to retain half of Kane salary, and another trade so a third party club eats half of 3.5 million cap hit left on Fleury contract. So caphit for the leafs 5 million for Kane & 1.75 million for Fleury.

Robertson, Semyonov, Mikheyev & a 2nd rd pick in 2023 & 2024 to Montreal for Petry. With Montreal eating half his contract, so caphit to the leafs is 3.125 another trade to get half reatained by another club, would bring caphit for Petry down to 1.6 million.

This sounds very complicated as far as finding all these teams looking to retain money, not to mention did you include players or picks going to said teams. sounds like we are emptying the cupboard on prospects and picks.
