You don’t get it Robertson is not in same league as Austin Matthews as no one is but he has the 2nd best release on the LEAFS
IF YOU PUT Robertson with the right Center ice man and winger he will pop 30 plus goals
I would bring Domi and Bertuzzi back but on multi year deal I’m not paying Domi anymore than $2.5 million and Bertuzzi no more than $3.5 million on a multi year deal
Jarnknok and Kampf are traded for picks
So lineup shakes out like this

Leafs would probably add a centerman in free agency and if Domi and Bertuzzi don’t return they need to be replaced
Bertuzzi is going to have to take a big haircut his scoring ability isn’t worth $5.5 million a yr
Leafs could give Bertuzzi and Domi term at team friendly number.

Robertson release isn't as good as Tavares or nylander. It also lacks deception. He had a hard shot in junior that he could beat goalies clean with, he doesn't beat to many goalies clean in the NHl. I have been liking Robertson better of late and think he still has potential to be a good player, but needs a lot of work.
Robertson isn't a 30 goal guy pretty much anywhere In the league unless he is the trigger guy and plays with a great passer, maybe playing with huberdeau in Calgary.
