To Chi: either Domi or Maccelli with Jarnkrok

I personally think Bertuzzi would play well under Berube. I wish he would of gave it one more year under Chief.

The first trade looks fine as it clears $4.25 million off Leafs cap.
That’s a good thing as there is no room on the roster for either of them.

The second trade makes no sense to me whatsoever?
Why would you want -39, Bertuzzi and his $5.5 million dollar times 3 year Albatross Contract back on the Leafs?
Both Domi & Maccelli have more value than Bertuzzi and that’s not saying much much!

WB49 you’re gonna go off his plus minus after playing a year on the worst team in the league? This is a guy who elevates his game when it gets tough and physical. That’s what I’m looking for. He started out slow with us but started finding chemistry with guys like Matthews and Domi. He is a good power forward that can play in the top 6 and put up maybe 25 goals. I think he would thrive under Berube’s system if given the chance. Maccelli is gonna make some beautiful plays in the regular season, I’m sure of it. But who would you rather in a 7 game series against Florida between Bertuzzi or Maccelli? It’s pretty easy for me but to each their own.
