ABSOLUTELY!

Personally, I would not.
Carlo is too important to trade right now (unless for a kick ass package) . He is the perfect partner for Rielly and helps shape our defensive pairings.
McCabe Tanev
Rielly Carlo
Luneau would be a great fit on the 3rd pair at this stage in his career, playing along side a defensive partner.
Benoit Luneau
This is why I think my trade proposal makes more sense (Luneau & 4th for OEL & McMann) . OEL is 34, LD and will always play behind Rielly (really not needed) . McMann would be missed, but I really think Joshua will fill his shoes on 2LW (heard Leafs view him as a potential Hyman) .
Knies Matthews Domi
Joshua Tavares Nylander
Laughton Roy Maccelli
Lorentz Kampf Jarnkrok
Robertson/ Pezzetta
McCabe Tanev
Rielly Carlo
Benoit Luneau
Thrun
Maybe trade Robertson for a draft pick. Anyways, lots more cap space to make a move at the TDL.

I like Carlo as well, not advocating trading him. I do think Luneau and Colangelo is a very good package for him though. Luneau a young, almost PPG D-man n the A last year and Colangelo has done nothing but score at any level he has played. Thing is, I also like OEL and McMann. OEL brings a strong vet presence on the backend and has gone all the way to the Cup. McMann played all over the lineup and still scored 20. He had a slow start to the playoffs, but I thought he was better and better as the playoffs went on. Hard to say that for many of the Leafs. Leafs could still look for another D-man to compliment Rielly, or play him with Luneau and give him the responsibility of being the leader and vet in the pair. Rielly has to be better this season and I am sure he knows it.
I don't dislike your trade, just seems like a lot for Luneau at this point in his career.
