I’m a big fan of acquiring Rakell.
I see him as an excellent fit with Matthews and Knies on the 1st line.
I’m not sure that package is sufficient to sway Dubas’ interest.

Rakell ($5 M)

Jarnkrok ($2.1)
Robertson ($1.85)
Total $3.95

The numbers don’t match for the Leafs and I would love to rid the Leafs of Domi’s contract.
Would Dubas take Domi plus a 2027, conditional 2nd round pick instead of Jarnkrok?
At least Jarnkrok can fill the need for a 4th line RW.
With the acquisition of Rakell there is no position in the lineup for Domi.
