Its gonna happen...people do not say that its not enough cause it is...trade analyzer agrees 100% as well...the only question does buffalo...top 6 winger, starter goalie or 1 b...and center depth from a solid defensive forward....perfect trade....


The green lights been given to add top 6...leafs are interested in 3 players i here...tuch, necas and forsberg...i like tuch forsberg necas that order...i like malkin too.

Love the deal.
Tuch would be a perfect fit with Matthews and Knies.

The issue here is Tuch’s expiring contract.
I was reading an article this morning that stated, Tuch ís looking for $10+ million per season on an extension.
He will also want term (5 - 6 years) which becomes a problem considering he is already 29 and will turn 30 prior to the playoffs.
It would have to be a sign and trade to be workable for the Leafs if they are giving up Cowan in the deal.

@WB don’t you think he wants $10+ M to stay in Buffalo because it sucks there. I think he would take a fair bit less to go to a good team. No way Buffalo is going to give him that type of money and I think he knows that. It’s his way out of there. I say if he were to come to Toronto, he would make Knies type money.
