I'm thinking the leafs start to get things together now but just looking at what they could be looking at and what they have to offer here are my options

Tor: maccelli niemela
Det: kane

Or

Tor: maccelli or Robertson + a pick or b level prospect

Ana: vatrano

First off I've kinda been advocating for kane for about a year and half or so no he's not prime kane he's lost his speed but not his hands or IQ he's a player who seems to make big plays in big moments and that's what this team lack in the playoffs he's on the third line right now so maybe Detroit sells him as for vatrano he is playing on the 4th line after being Anaheims best player the past few years again a possible buy low option

So you’re going after an older Marner GOAT? What happened to the DNA change? I’d take Vatrano but not interested in Kane even though it does excite me to get rid of Maccelli.

@clarky kane is not marner that’s a joke kane is a winner marner never won anything what we have seen so far is how the leafs are missing that setup man in the top 6 maccelli was supposed to be that clearly is not.

@RLF that’s why a trade right now is highly unlikely but I do hope the leafs do their shopping early.
