We definitely missed the boat on Quenneville. That was Trevliving’s first mistake when hitting a coach. He jumped the gun on Berube when the nhl was already in discussions to allowing Joel back in. Look at what he’s doing in Anaheim. His style of coaching fit the leafs way better then Berube. Especially with the roster we had. Trev has no patience or clue when he makes deals. Almost like he works on desperation instead of patience and value.

I don't think anaheims success in all on Q, they have been a young developing team ready to start competing for the cup.

What are you talking about leafs inquired about Quenneville reinstatement and bettman didn’t confirm his return at the time but after hiring Berube cause he was afraid to lose him to another team queenville was reinstated. Trev and Shanny couldn't wait and made a big mistake berube I and Trev ruining this team. Didn’t need to get Macelli or Joshua and take on those contracts. Should have worked internally then with cap space comes bargaining power. He put himself up against the cap then decided to try and unload players and was getting low balled which I still would have taken.
