7 AHL games has 3 goals(35 goal pace)

Ducks have cap space. I wonder if the y would be willing to do a Maccelli or Jarnkrok for Colangelo. Both Jarnkrok and Maccelli are on the last year of their deals, so that may suit Anaheim. Leafs would save cap and Colangelo is still waiver exempt this season. He fits the Leafs style of play. Maybe be a complimentary top 6 RW option. He did well last year in Anaheim getting 3rd and 2nd line duties. He had 2 PP goals and 2 PP assists in 32 games last season with 67 hits. His other 8 goals were at EV. Wouldn't hurt to try. If it worked, that gives the Leafs Matthews, JT, Nylander, Knies, Cowan and Colangelo as a top 6. A third line of Joshua, Roy and McMann (I have been wanting to see that all season) and a 4th line consisting of Laughton, Lorentz and who is left (Domi, Robertson Jarnkrok/Maccelli).

Moving one of the expiring contracts of Jarnkrok or Maccelli for Colangelo would be a sweet piece of work.
It might take a mid round pick to sweeten things.

I don’t think he’d be a top 6 guy but I think leafs are missing something on their 4th line I don’t think the ducks want cast offs like jarkrok or maccelli tho.

Goat, likely a long shot to play in the top 6, although most said the same about McMann and he has worked well there for stints. It is worth a try just to see. imo
Jarnkrok is a useful player. A vet with playoff experience that can PK and works hard should appeal to Anaheim. Maccelli, who knows, but he does have talent, he needs to make the easy play more often than getting too fancy.
It's funny, when I first mentioned Colangelo, no one knew who he was, now all of a sudden, even though he is an almost 24 year old mostly minor league player, people are acting like he should have a ton of value.
