Marchement has been a bust in Seattle. Doing this they get a good defensive player for bottom six that still contributes offensively occasionally plays center. Maccelli is younger and can offer some offensive upside which is what they need right now.
Marchement is a berube style player on an expiring contract.

Leafs2425. He’s in the press box cause he doesn’t play berube style hockey but on a team that needs offense and lets the leash loose on him he can be a contributor and add offense. Dont be so naive and narrow minded.
