revamps the dcore while keeping insurance if we lose tanev again.

why chi trades hamilton, mostly to free up cap space and get peices to trade for hughes.

chicago trades murphy who is not part of their future. I think he would love to get back up to 20m nights. they are using him over 80% defensively so his numbers are way down, but wioth the extra peices the leafs could try to get their second round pick back from the mccabe trade.

Don’t need Murphy. Stretcher has been a great addition not putting him out of the lineup for Murphy when Tanev comes back.

As a whole he's the kinda dman the Leafs need. From offensive talent. To hard hitting. His numbers are down because he's being used substantially less offensively, from 70.8% starts In the ozone last year to 47.4% this season. On the leafs I can see him getting the starts he's good at.

Hamilton makes too much for what he brings and in my opinion Murphy doesn’t bring much he’s essentially Carlo but worse that’s why I think with how cheap Carlo is the leafs should probably keep him and hope the play improves and if he’s still bad move him in the offseason.
