Toronto does have Cap issues next year still. They'll still have JT and Mitch, plus Willy doubles his salary and Mathews goes up 2m. If nothing is done to move someone big, it won't look much different.

They can ask Marner to waive his no trade and if he doesn't then put him on waivers.
