I don't understand this obsession with Robertson. He's been given chance after chance (same as Lilly) . He isn't producing at all. No matter where he is in the lineup.

Robertson has been getting 3rd line minutes on his off wing after being Leafs best player during training camp and preseason.
He definitely deserves an opportunity to play his correct wing with Tavares and Nylander.
Robertson won the player of the game, team belt against the Red Wings.

Timmins has been playing well despite being paired with Benoit.
Really impressed with how he has elevated his play from last season.

Putting Marner on a line with McMann and Dewar allows Marner to drive his own line and gives Leafs 3 potentially productive lines.

I still like the idea of trading for Monahan if CBJs are receptive.
McMann - Monahan - Marner would be a very effective line.

If Marner wants a bug pay day, he needs to earn it and drive his own line. Not ride Mathews for 100 points and an easy pay day. Not necessarily 3rd line.

Does anyone know why the leafs r afraid to try marner at centre? He plays both pp/ pk. I believe given the opportunity he would play a great 200ft game. Domi to Matthews right side. Marner 2nd line centre in between nylander and bump McMann up. Then Tavares, dewar and holmberg until pactches is back. You keep fourth line the same.
