To solidify the third line, McMann could be replaced with Keegan Kolesar, who used to play on a line with Roy. That way, Roy and Kolesar would be reunited, and the swap would work as a clean one for one.

Nothing wrong with the idea but gut feel McMann has (potentially a higher ceiling) but style of play wise and the fact the two played together could give us a strong presence come playoffs.

The problem is we have more than enough bottom 6 guys. We need to move 2 contracts just to sign roslovic (according to the rumor) . McMann has some value so I think he would be a potential mover.
