I’ve been a Gadjovich fan since he was in juniors.

I was not a fan of Treliving’s trade with the Mammoth for Maccelli.
Leafs were supposedly looking for a DNA change then traded for a guy who couldn’t fight his way out of a wet paper bag.
To make matters worse Leafs added $3.425 million to their salary cap without sending Kampf or Domi back to Utah.
As bad a move as Klingberg and Reaves’s.

We don't need anymore bottom 6 guys. And maccelli isn't doing too bad. He's just need to put in a couple points for his confidence to kick in. Then see what we have in him.

Doubtful that Maccelli is the answer. But having more bottom six players is definitely not. Palmieri on the first line is laughable. Taking out Laughton and Lorentz for those two guys is a lateral move at best.

@Bob Laughton and Lorentz are injured not being replaced. Also what’s your definition of a first line guy? Has to make over 8M? Should be who they find chemistry with. A mid 30’s battler who is itching to see some post season hockey in Palmieri would be a big upgrade over Maccelli/ Robertson/ Domi.

@WB with Florida missing two big guns for most of the season, I can see them having interest in Robertson who can help with their secondary scoring until the other troops become healthy.

Thank you WB for someone finally agreeing with me on Maccelli. Yes last game was his best game but I don’t see him getting a spot in the lineup come playoffs. Or at least battling with Robertson, Cowan and Domi for one. Everyone knows by now that I was against the Maccelli pick up from day 1. As WB said we were suppose to be after an identity change and you went out and got a smaller, less talented, less physical version of Mitch Marner.

Neither Domi or Palmeri is a first line player. How much they make is irrelevant. Who comes out when Lorentz and Laughton come back? Domi and Jarnkok would be fine.
