The Sens one is fine. I think Duclair is highly underrated and would do very well on a better team. Ottawa also needs all the prospects and picks they could get along with a better RHD then Zaitsev lol so they may go for it.

I still think Manson is highly overrated. He had one good season in 2017-18 but then after that he sucked. He was also injured this year and it looked as if he got even worse when he cane back. Everyone thinks he is a great defensive defenceman but his +/ - and advanced stats do not show that imo.

I still think Matt Roy is a much better target as he is way cheaper, more likely to get dealt for something reasonable due to the recent trade history between Toronto and L. A., and he has a much better +/ - and advanced stats then Manson. Roy is also 6’ for those who like big bodies.

Please look at both of their stats before posting another Manson trade. Literally it’s so simple just type “Josh Manson stats” into the search bar and boom you will see how bad he is compared to someone far cheaper like Roy.

The third trade is unecessary and I would rather trade Kerfoot+ for a 3C as Kerfoot didn’t really seem to fit into the leafs system. You also forgot about Dermott who can play that bottom pairing role.

I do really like holl but duclair could be disgusting playing with those 2. I feel like I'd rather dump kerfoot for a prospect in this situation. I've posted a few time juolevi is a high risk high reward type trade but you could run

See I just feel though if Manson was in a different environment He would do well, the ducks are kinda bad and have been for awhile. What if we kept those trades but instead of Manson how about johnsson engvall and liljegren To golden knights for Shea Theodore?

Eltzy idk if Vegas would trade heir best defenceman that’s the thing. And you may have a point about Manson succeeding in a better environment but we can’t know for sure.

However, Matt Roy on the other hand is already succeeding on a very bad team as well, so the chances of him doing even better on the leafs are very high. His partners were not that good this year either and he still somehow did very well defensively. Imagine how well he would do with Reilly.

Duclair has bounced around a lot but he would be a nice fit with Matthews and wee Willy I have posted before Robertson or bellows with 34 but Eclaire (sic) would be an upgrade for sure

I would take Manson as I'm sure he would be an ok player for us. The biggest issue is ducks would want a good return and he just isn't worth it. If they gave us Manson for Bracco and a 7th kind of trade I would do it. If they want a roster player, better pick or prospect I would never pay it.

Very well out themostleaf. Pretty much how I see it as well. People seem really stuck on Manson. Have for awhile. Even "insiders" I have read have said he would be a great addition at the expense of Kapanen but I don't see it. He's not playing well and only ever had ok me good year.

Roy would be a great addition. Better than Ceci, Marincin or Barrie for sure.

Manson was rock solid for four years straight. He just got better and better. Anaheim looked like they really lucked out drafting him in the 6th round. And they did. Most 6th round picks never see the ice. So good for Manson making it into the league and being so good for so long.

Unfortunately, there might be a reason why Manson was picked in the 6th, and we are seeing it now. Manson's game doesn't depend on skill. He's a bit of a throwback to older school type defensemen like Pollack. So now that the league is moving into a younger faster style that emphasises speed and playmaking ability, Manson's skillset is declining in practical use as well as just naturally with age. He was never elite. So it's easily possible he is going to fall at a much rapid pace than someone who is considered a true top line NHL defenseman

I don't possibly understand how some of the analysts seem to think it would cost us a player like Kapanen to obtain him. He's not worth much more than the 6th that Anaheim originally used to draft him.
