He fits the Toronto mold, 5'9" forward lol. Don't know much on him personally, other then 9th overall pick in 2020 with 2 career games played, if I'm not mistaken.

Interesting target, but I doubt that gets it done. With Minny having $13-$15M in dead cap space for 3 seasons, they will need all the talented cheap ELC contracts they have. Next off-season Dumba is UFA and Jost, Boldy, Duhaime, Gustavsson and Steel (yea, they recently signed him for $.850M) are all RFA's. Rossi transitioned quite well to the A pro level. He may be their best forward prospect, so unless it is an overpay, I don't think he goes anywhere.

Agree on the overpay needed.
I was trying to do that.
Think Minnie needs another Dman and Anderson should play in the NHL this year while Holmberg is quite interesting.

I like Rossi too and it sparked an idea for a similar roll

Connor Brown for Muzz and 2nd or 3rd or Holl for the same, all the above works too lol. Brown looked better in a leaf’s uniform I’d welcome him back and rejuvenate the guy.

Yea, but Rossi is a top 10 pick who just put up 53 in 63 (IIRC) as a first year pro as a 20 year old. I think it will take more than pending UFA 3rd pair D, a maybe bottom 6er and an unproven interesting prospect.

If you love this guy you should be prepared to offer far more than an expiring contract (Holl) an AHL player (Andersen) and a “B” prospect (Holmberg) for a top ten drafted player with star prospects.
