If they can negiate hard with Domi and Bertuzzi and get them both signed for combined 6 million they can really have an amazing team with still over $14 million in cap space

@Randy I'm thinking that as well. Someone will give him a 2x2 or some such after this year, and he'll want the opportunity to play.

He was doing excellent for a bottom pairing guy, and abruptly benched. Players hate that.

Leafs (Keefe’s) treatment of Benoit certainly opens the door for him to leave.

Robertson (left handed) isn’t a suitable 1st line LW let alone RW.

I don’t see how you can separate Matthews and Marner one of the best duos in the league.
Then to put Marner on the 3rd line with Holmberg and a blank?
Two very unhappy players.
Not a good idea.

Get rid of Reaves (one way or another) .
Keep Dewar if he is around minimum wage.
Try to sign Yakov Trenin or Brandon Duhaime or both.

Reilly - Roy/ Walker/ DeMelo
McCabe - Liljegren
Benoit/ Edmundson - Timmins

Trading jarnkrok and kampf have more of a negative impact than a positive the number one weakness of this team is their pk and the lack of defensive forwards as good as holmberg has been he’s still pretty inconsistent so him as a 3c doesn’t make much sense Robertson I can’t see coming back the fit isn’t there he needs to be on a rebuilding team I agree they should try and hold onto a lot of their ufas but I do think they need an upgrade at rhd and a quality centre.

Benoit is an RFA, if anything could be traded for a 5th or 6th. But I think he resigns as at 1m x2yr. He can fit in as a 7th.
