Robertson was amazing when he was on the top line but they just took him off for no reason. He has more value if you’re going to trade him we should get someone better than bunting.

Robertson had a good stretch like he always does. He wasn't demoted for no reason. He started making poor giveaways in his own end and not producing anything. In that stretch he had 1 goal in 7 games before demoted. He has only 1 goal in his last 4 games which was a meaningless one against Pitt. He was also sulking. Jarnkrok, Maccelli and Joshua all sat before he did last night. He earned a spot in the press box last night.

Why trade an asset for Bunting?
Where will Bunting play?
He’s not taking Knies spot on the 1st line.
He’s not taking Cowan’s spot on the 2nd line unless Leafs are planning on sending Cowan back to the Marlies which I doubt.
Bunting can battle Joshua for the 3rd line, LW slot but Joshua finally appears to be finding his game.
If Robertson is traded as part of a package, I hope it is for a RW.

Clarky. Cowan was demoted earlier in the year in case you forgot. He is also a rookie and I think has a much higher ceiling than Robertson. He should get more leeway than a guy who should know better by now. Plus he has 5 pts in his last 9 games. Robertson had 1 point in 7 games before being demoted.
I don't understand why you are so protective of Robertson.

Bunting plays on the right side. He takes Domi’s spot. He’s an FA after the season. It’s to get out from Maccelli so u need to give up Robertson. He’s got 18pts.
