Wouldn’t do this trade, Carlson is very good though so I’d consider it.

I would do this in a heartbeat. Carlson at 8 is good value. He is also obviously a top 5 defenceman in the world if not better.

Dang. I don't think I would do this if I was the Leafs. I'd rather see if we can re-sign Reilly first. If not, then maybe consider making a deal like this.
Carlsson is great. Probably going to win the Norris this year. But Reilly isn't far behind. The difference between the two is not worth Nylander.

Take out Dermott make the deal kerfoot bracco and a future 2nd rounder for risto and I'm in you still need dermott on the team to take over Reilly spot when Reilly gets shipped to Dallas for klingberg.
