Why are you paying more for rust necas is younger and better… that being said I don’t think Colorado moves him as for rust he’s a nice player but I’d like to see the leafs target some youth this year they are getting to be an older team.

Rust is way more valuable in playoffs. More heart and grit. We already have Nylander, we don’t need Necas. I’d take the Rust deal but I don’t want to lose McMann.

In my opinion Necas is far better and younger than Rust.

The offer to Colorado does not even come close to being enough for Necas.

The Leafs have given away far too many 1st round picks over the past 5 - 10 years.
Giving up another one, 3 years from now would be poor planning!

Why's everyone looking at rust over rakell?

Rakell is much more playoff geared than rust.
