As much as I like Benoit's compete and thought he was good in the playoffs, I do this one. Saves Leafs huge against the cap, removes an extra forward and most importantly, gives the Leafs a point producing RD prospect that can likely play in the NHL now.

Depends on how they spend the cap space those two are heart and soul guys potentially and I can’t predict the outcome of the cap space but if a top six is the result I’d be in.

I think you can make this trade without benoit in it the thing Anaheim has a lot of is young blueliners they need more offence.

Why would they now trade for him?
