Definitely DON’T trade a 20 year old Ben Danford for Connor Murphy (33 years old March 26th)
I think Leafs have MORE THAN ENOUGH 30+ year old defensemen,
Leafs are beginning a Retool not competing for the Stanley Cup.
Had Stolarz played even reasonably well during his starts this year, Edmonton might be interested as Jarry has been a disappointment.
But Stolarz has been absolutely TERRIBLE so I doubt the Oilers are giving up their top prospect for him.

Your trades are absurd. Your signings are even more ridiculous. McMann alone is worth more than Connor Brown. Nylander alone gets you Stone and Petrangelo (and still wouldn’t do it) . And most obviously …. on what planet do you reside on to think you’re signing Mitch Marner at 5 million? And Knies for that matter? Marner will get $13m and Knies will approach $8m.

1. Hyman is already LW and has been for as long as I can remember.
2. SAN Jose cannot afford Marleau, even with Leafs retaining 50% (which is max allowed)
3. Gardiner is no longer a member of the team.
4. Moore has already been called up and is virtually guaranteed a spot on the team next year. Hutchinson over Sparks is a good idea.

the only thing is Nylander is really good for is his goal scoring (which we like), but then he gets caught offside and get penalties so many times his transition side of the game terrible and his lack of physical and defensive side of the game is way far beyond worst then anyone else on the team. i’m surprised that they kept him for 8 more years now get ready for 8 more years of disappointment from Nylander.
