Toronto trades: Knies
Winnipeg trades: Blake Wheeler with 50 percent retained

Toronto trades: William Nylander
Chicago trades: Max Domi with Tampa Bay's second round pick in 2023 and Dallas' third round pick in 2023

Toronto trades: Alex Kerfoot and Ottawa's third round pick
Seattle trades: Brandon Tanev with retaining only 1 million

Toronto trades: Pierre Engvall and the rights to Nicholas Moldenhauer
Los Angeles trades: Brendan Lemieux

Toronto trades: Rasmus Sandin with our first round pick in 2023
Buffalo trades: ilya Lyubushkin and their first round pick in 2023

Toronto trades: Justin Holl
Vancouver trades: Luke Schenn

Lines would look like this;
"After both goalies come back from injury"

Tanev Matthews Marner
Lemieux Tavares Wheeler
Robertson Domi Jarnkrok
Bumting Kampf ZAR

Reilly Liljegren
Brodie Lyubushkin
Giordano Schenn

Did I read that correctly?
You want to trade 20 year old Matthew Knies (Leafs top prospect) for 36 year old Blake Wheeler?
Even with 50% retained Wheeler’s contract would still be $4.125 with another year to run after this season. r

Surely you jest?

William Nylander for Max Domi a 2nd and a 3rd.

Kerfoot PLUS a 3rd for Brandon Tanev.
You’re having us on?

Engvall for Brendan Lemieux would add some toughness but can’t see LA agreeing.

Sandin & Leaf’s 1st for Lyubushkin and Buffalo’s 1st when Leafs had Lyubushkin and only had to resign him?
Instead they chose to sign Victor Mete and Jordie Benn

Schenn for Holl is not a deal the Canucks are likely to jump all over.

2.) 13 Nov 2022 12:59:55
My thoughts exactly on the first four!
I’d do number 5 if the Sabres agree.
Number 6 is a wash for me.

Toronto Sends Muzzin on Waivers and then Muzzin can come out of the closet

Toronto trades: Timothy Liljegren
Buffalo trades: ilya Lyubushkin with 50 percent retained and Second round picks from Philadelphia and Vegas

Toronto trades: Justin Holl
Vancouver trades: Luke Schenn

1.) 29 Oct 2022 20:11:56
I’d take that too!

2.) 29 Oct 2022 21:31:34
Lili has a higher ceiling and is better than Boosh now. Yes he's more of the same, but he's the last guy I move right now.

3.) 29 Oct 2022 23:21:25
That's a serious haul for Liljegren! Really disappointed we didn't re-sign him.

06 Oct 2022 20:53:35
Toronto trades: Jake Muzzin
Anaheim trades: Kevin Shattenkirk with 50 percent retained
(Leafs adds a veteran right handed puck moving defensemen)
(and Muzzin would be comfortable with that because he would go back to California)

Toronto trades: Alex Kerfoot
Minnesota trades: Marcus Foligno
with a third team retaining on Marcus Foligno
( Leafs add an experience hitter for the second line Left Wing)

Toronto trades: Justin Holl
Vancouver trades: Luke Schenn
with a third team retaining on Justin Holl
(Leafs add an experience physical right handed defensemen)

Toronto trades: Wayne Simmonds
Nashville trades: Mark Borowiecki
(Leafs add an experience physical left handed defensemen)

1.) 06 Oct 2022 22:27:43
Foligno would be a great add! I believe Minnesota values him more then just Kerfoot. Holl for Schenn i would do, for the cap savings and added physicality. I believe Simmonds also has a NMC and no desire to leave, nor do we need another LHD. Even if Muzzin were to leave, which I also doubt. But solid targets, I don't think you're far fetched.

2.) 07 Oct 2022 01:52:52
Shattenkirk is Tyson Barrie, stay away.

3.) 07 Oct 2022 02:27:15
I'd prefer (Healthy) Muzzin over Shattenkirk.

4.) 07 Oct 2022 15:21:52
I’d do Holl for Schenn all day.

5.) 09 Oct 2022 00:28:51
Muzzin will retire a leaf

Kerfoot is needed without Tavares to start year

The rest doesn’t matter

Much like the feeling Canada feels now

Schneider screwed up by pullin gausman thus 1& wheeler.

6.) 10 Oct 2022 01:51:29
Not sure why Minnesota would consider trading Marcus Foligno, heart and soul of their team, for Alex Kerfoot?

17 Sep 2022 04:28:18
Leafs trades T.J Brodie and Topi Niemela
Anaheim trade 50 percent retained Kevin

Leafs trade Justin Holl
Nashville trade Mark Borowiecki

Leafs trade Alex Kerfoot
Ottawa Trade Austin Watson

Leafs trade Rasmus Sandin
Florida Radko Gudas

Toronto then signs: Joe Thornton and P.K Subban at 1 million

Forward Lines:
Marner Thornton Matthews
Watson Tavares Nylander
Engvall Kampf Jankrok
Bunting Gaudette Aston-Reese
Extra: Aube-Kubel

Defense Lines:
Reilly Subban
Giordano Shattenkirk
Borowiecki Gudas
Extra: Muzzin

Matt Murray
ilya Samsonov

1.) 17 Sep 2022 12:36:49
I'd be interested in the Holl for Borowiecki trade. Other then we're trading a RHD for a LHD (if I'm not mistaken) . Which he have an abundance of, we're thin on the right side. Cap savings and toughness, solid upgrade. Kerfoot for Watson, I think they need to add. But adding a 6'4" forward is appealing. What about Holl for Gudas? Maybe a 3rd team retains salary. Thornton and Suban I personally don't have interest in.

2.) 17 Sep 2022 12:38:24
Why would the Leafs do any of these trades?
Not going to happen!
Did you write this for comic relief?

3.) 17 Sep 2022 18:57:52
You think Shattenkirk is better than Brodie? Lmao. This should be the Ducks adding.

4.) 17 Sep 2022 20:07:55
The shattenkirk one I find strange.

5.) 17 Sep 2022 23:51:59
I have nothing to say.

Leafs trades: Nylander, Kerfoot and Rasmus Sandin To Arizona for Nick Bjugstad, Lawson Crouse and 50 percent retained Jakob Chychrun

and then sign Patrice Bergeron for 900K

and then Leafs trade Kalle Loponen to Vancouver for Luke Schenn

then Leafs trade Matt Murray and Ottawa's 3 round pick to Dallas for Jake Oettinger ( Sign Oettinger for the same price as Samsonov)

then Leafs trade Muzzin to New York islanders for retained 500K Scott Mayfield

Then Sign all three Kessel, Chara and Braden Holtby for 420K (Chara and Holtby for injury replacement)

and now for the big trade ever, (please don't hate me for this one)

Leafs trade: Mitch Marner, T.J Brodie and Nick Robertson to Washington For 50 percent retained on all three of them Alexander Ovechkin ,John Carlson and Tom Wilson

here are Forward Lines would look like:

first line Ovechkin Bergeron Matthews
Second Line Crouse Bjugstad Tavares
Third Line Bunting Kampf Kessel
Fourth Line Engvall Curtis Douglas Wilson
Extra: Clifford, Simmonds, Aube-Kubel and Knies

Defense Lines:
Reilly Carlson
Chychrun Mayfield
Giordano Schenn
Extra: Chara and Holl

Extra: Holtby

just so all of you know i'm a huge fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
So know let's get everything started :

Number 1. switch Hyman's position to LW and change his potential to medium top 6 FWD if it's not already.

Number 2. trade Marleau to San Jose for later picks.

Number 3. trade Gardiner and Bracco with a few picks to St Louis for Parayko.

Number 4. call up Trevor Moore and Hutchinson then scratch Sparks.

1.) 14 May 2019 02:45:36
Hey Pacioretty. Glad to have you on board. I think most members of this site are huge Leafs fans. Welcome to the forum.

1. Hyman is already LW and has been for as long as I can remember.

2. SAN Jose cannot afford Marleau, even with Leafs retaining 50% (which is max allowed)

3. Gardiner is no longer a member of the team.

4. Moore has already been called up and is virtually guaranteed a spot on the team next year. Hutchinson over Sparks is a good idea.

2.) 17 May 2019 09:38:38
Lol number 3 is just bad really bad.

how about trading Kerfoot instead of Engvall
and then sign Thomas Finucan for depth instead of bringing up a young kid like Robertson.

how about the Leafs send both, Sandin and Kerfoot for Lawson Crouse and 50 percent retained Jakob Chychrun.
