This is a great target. Not enough for 50 percent retention. Likely take Cowen to get him.

I think it’s a fair deal. I don’t agree with Bob here. It’s only 2M+ on retention and in the last year of the deal. Danford should have lots of value as an up and comer RHD that can play in the NHL this or next season while making league min. For two more seasons. Plus Robertson has a little bit of value as well. Knows how to put the puck in the net and some teams need that desperately. NYI and NYR for example.

I would hate to see Danford go but I am a big proponent of acquiring Tuch even though he is approaching 30.
Knies - Matthews - Tuch would look great.
Sabres have a number of good, young defensemen, số it might take Cowan to motivate Buffalo.
I am on the fence regarding this proposal.

@Clarky that's a 30+ scorer. At the TDL I think he gets a first+Danford. Idsay it's at least a bit light.

I agree RLF but maybe not a first because he has no term. If Robertson is part of the deal, then I’d send a 2nd at best with that package.
