Preds going nowhere fast again this season get Woll even though injured his ceiling is high, Domi fills in probably on the second line at Centre.
Leafs probably still looking for that Marner replacement and getting FForsberg would certainly help going forward this season.

Truthfully I don’t think trading will would be a smart move yes he’s injury prone but look around the league no one other than a few are playing a bulk of the games and staying healthy it’s become a tandem league I also am not sold on hildaby let’s see it consistently and my last point would be like leafslife said why does trotz need a guy like woll when they can’t score.

Domi has zero (0) value and is carrying a $3.75 million dollar contract for two more years.
Preds have Jusso Sarros so I’m not sure why they would trade their BEST PLAYER for another goaltender?

@WB domi has value, he bewen performing adequately with matthews and knies its just nothings going in. and his 3.75m is becuase he does well in the playoffs. 1/ 2 point per game is well worth the 3.75m he earns.

Domi is a team leading -10.
The only Leafs who are even close are Jarnkrok (-7) and Myers (-6) two more players with zero (0) value.
He is not even close to being adequate, particularly on the first line.
Domi consistently makes bone headed plays, takes BAD penalties at the most inopportune times and seems to expend a lot of energy to accomplish very little.
Domi is arguably the most expendable Leaf and was a terrible signing by Treliving a GM known for making bad decisions.

I think it’s a fair deal. I don’t agree with Bob here. It’s only 2M+ on retention and in the last year of the deal. Danford should have lots of value as an up and comer RHD that can play in the NHL this or next season while making league min. For two more seasons. Plus Robertson has a little bit of value as well. Knows how to put the puck in the net and some teams need that desperately. NYI and NYR for example.

I would hate to see Danford go but I am a big proponent of acquiring Tuch even though he is approaching 30.
Knies - Matthews - Tuch would look great.
Sabres have a number of good, young defensemen, số it might take Cowan to motivate Buffalo.
I am on the fence regarding this proposal.

Leafs will have to shed some Cap unless Buffalo will retain some salary on Tuch's expiring contract, but where Buffalo is and where Toronto is this proposal makes sense for both teams imo.

With Woll out indefinitely I don’t think Leafs will be trading Hildeby.

In all honesty I would trade Cowan before I traded Danford.
Cowan projects as a 2nd/ 3rd line LW.
2nd/ 3rd line LW might be one of the most replaceable positions in hockey.
Danford, on the other hand projects as a defensively above average, 2nd pairing, RHD (think Tanev) a coveted position in the NHL.

Leafs get a very serviceable RWinger to replace Marner, as well as downsize the forwards currently on the roster as there are too many, Leafs add 1.5 million in this proposal for more Cap Space.

Sharks a team looking to add some veterans to this young very talented group they are building, this 3 for 1 adds much needed depth as well.

Anaheim full of very good young players but missing that one piece of an elite player like Marner to take them to that next level is why Anaheim would do this.

Changes were promised by Treliving and with really Marner both having the most value and giving them more Cap flexibility this would be a huge step, Adding McTavish, RStrome and The 3rd Overall Pick helps going forward also.

Why trade marner, he is a good set up man. Look at his assists 62 and 35 Goals. Mathew’s is just the opposite. There are other players that need to. Go before Marner.

I still don’t believe he waves for Anaheim. He wants to go to a team with playoff potential or with cup contention. I see Chicago for the reason of Bedard.
I see Vegas for cup contention. Rangers do intrigue me for both in terms of star power and cup contention.
Funny as it sounds Utah could be kicking tires as new owner what’s to make a statement to fans bring in star player.
