Hey Leafs final trade of year. What I think the thing Dubas can do and free up some cap players that need to be moved

Leafs get a strong winger for 3rd line and good goal

Do you mean Peron?
If Wings retain 50%, Peron’s familiarity with O’Reilly makes him worth a look.
I think Vejmelka is the best backup for Samsonov that Leafs could acquire.
Matt Murray would have to be going back to Arizona to make it feasible.
If Coyotes are taking back Murray’s $4.7 cap hit for next season it would probably take Boston’s 1st (via Washington) to get the deal done but I am okay with that as Vejmelka has two more years to run on his contract at $2.725.

I think you're high, engvall is more expendable than kerfoot, and we dont need reaves with the additions weve gotten. plus we still have simmonds practicing for half the price.
and you left out kampf, so id be sitting ZAR and Engvall.
on a side note, i dont mind the fabbro target.

Personally I don't think Holl is an issue, he's just the new Jake Gardiner. He's a bottom pairing D that kills penalties well. Not going to find better for that price. I'd throw Kerfoot and Engvall out the door for a bag of pucks before Holl.
Jeannot is thrown around a lot and I really like him as an acquisition. Sandin for Jeannot straight up should probably get it done if we use Nino as a measuring stick.
Fabbri I'd personally pass on. Not a fan.

Good choice but the Canes won't move Pesce as he is exempt. They are in a position where only 1 Dman can be picked up by Vegas; that is T. Carrick. The rest are UFA, protected, exempt, or expendable. For the expn. draft; they are sitting prettier than the Leafs.
They have ton's of cap space and will be free to do whatever they like.
What would it take? They could use a RW and a RHD.
They have depth at all positions down to the farm except RHD.
